Beril Heral is a film acquisitions executive based in Ankara, Turkey. Her interest in film has started at a young age when she shot short films and conducted her own personal film festival with her friends. She got interested in shooting experimental movies and mockumentaries while studying Communication and Design in Bilkent University, but now her professional interests align more with the acquisitions and bringing cinema culture to the masses.

She writes things—then changes her mind, deletes them, and starts over. She reads a lot. Sometimes she keeps her thoughts to herself, sometimes she chooses to share them with the rest of the world.
